How It Works
1. Pick Your Plan
Choose Basic, Guard, or Elite for the solar equipment at your home. Plans are billed annually for a 360-day term.
2. We Inspect and Document
Guard and Elite include a scheduled system inspection and written report. Qualifying Baseline Inspections or recommissioning checklists can count as the first inspection. Basic starts remotely, without an inspection.
3. You Call Us First
When something goes wrong, contact Florida Solar Pro. Members receive priority scheduling and repair discounts. Guard and Elite members don’t pay the standard trip charge on eligible service calls.

Important Plan Details
Systems we didn’t install or reset need a $199 Baseline Inspection before Guard or Elite, credited in full to your plan — it counts as your first year’s inspection. Plans run 360 days and renew automatically at no more than 10% over the prior year; cancel before day 330 at no charge, the same way you enrolled. FL licenses CVC56702 · CPC1458189 · CAC1817178 · SCC131153056.
The displayed monthly prices are equivalents only. Billing is annual and paid upfront. Labor, parts and repairs are billed separately unless a specific diagnostic or inspection benefit is stated.
The trip-charge waiver applies to the service-call trip fee only and does not cover labor, parts, or repairs, which are quoted separately. Service plans do not guarantee a specific arrival time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about Florida Solar Pro service plans, inspections, monitoring, and enrollment.
What's the difference between Basic, Guard, and Elite?
Basic provides priority scheduling, a 5% repair discount, member support and manufacturer warranty claim assistance. Compatible PV and battery systems can also receive remote monitoring. Guard adds an annual inspection, written report, a 10% repair discount and no standard trip charge on eligible service calls. Elite adds one diagnostic visit of up to 90 minutes per term, a 15% repair discount and qualifying installation savings.
Why do I need a Baseline Inspection?
A $199 Baseline Inspection documents the condition of a system we didn't install, reset or recently service. When you enroll in Guard or Elite within 30 days, we credit the $199 in full. If the completed inspection meets the plan checklist, it counts as your first inspection for that term.
What does the Elite diagnostic visit include?
Elite includes one diagnostic visit per 360-day term, with up to 90 minutes on site during normal business hours. We identify the reported problem and prepare a repair quote. Parts, repairs and additional diagnostic time are billed separately.
Are repairs included in the service plan?
No. Service plans provide maintenance benefits, priority scheduling, eligible repair discounts and manufacturer warranty claim assistance. Repairs, replacement parts and materials are quoted separately. The repair discount is 5% on Basic, 10% on Guard and 15% on Elite for a single system.
My solar installer went out of business. Can Florida Solar Pro help?
Yes. We can request authorization to become your designated solar service and monitoring contact where the equipment manufacturer permits it. We can help file eligible manufacturer warranty claims. We don't assume the original installer's workmanship obligations.
Do you remotely monitor my solar system?
Compatible PV and battery systems can receive manufacturer-platform monitoring after access is approved and reporting is confirmed. We review available information at least monthly and follow up on material faults during business hours. Pool solar and hot water equipment without compatible connected controllers is not remotely monitored.
Can I add pool solar to my PV service plan?
Yes. At the same service address, pool solar can be added to a qualifying PV Guard plan for $110 per 360-day term, billed annually. PV Guard is $339, making the combined annual charge $449 before any applicable taxes or additional charges. Two enrolled systems qualify for a 15% eligible repair discount.
What if I have both Enphase and SolarEdge on my roof?
Different inverter platforms count as separate PV systems. You can add the second platform to PV Guard for $150 per 360-day term, billed annually, making the two-platform Guard price $489. The 40-panel allowance is shared across the address. A two-platform Elite enrollment has one shared included diagnostic visit.
How many solar panels can I enroll?
PV pricing includes up to 40 panels total at one service address. Each additional panel costs $3 per 360-day term, billed annually. The allowance applies across every enrolled PV platform at that address.
Does my plan renew automatically?
Paid plans run for 360 days and renew automatically for another 360-day term unless cancelled by the deadline. The renewal price will not increase by more than 10% over the prior term. You can cancel renewal on or before day 330 at no charge using the same method you used to enroll. Included first-year service from a qualifying roof project does not automatically convert into a paid renewal.
What happens after a hurricane?
Members receive priority scheduling under their plan. The separately priced Hurricane Readiness Package adds a pre-season check, written report and post-storm priority benefits. Storm repairs are assessed and quoted separately. Service scheduling depends on safe access, weather conditions and available crews.
Is my solar system too old to enroll?
There is no general age limit for service-plan enrollment. We document the equipment's condition and available manufacturer warranty information. Unsafe or nonfunctioning equipment may need repairs before enrollment can proceed, and some older components may require replacement rather than repair.
Can I transfer my plan if I sell my home?
Yes. The plan can transfer to the new owner of the same service address for the remaining term. Florida Solar Pro needs written notice and the new owner's acceptance of the agreement. The plan doesn't transfer to a different property.
